What we do

Menzies Aviation is committed to supporting refugees and displaced people by offering employment opportunities, helping integration into host communities, and contributing to local economies. In 2023, Menzies set a goal to recruit refugees equivalent to 1% of its workforce by the end of 2026.

Menzies joined the Tent Partnership for Refugees (Tent) in 2022 and has since expanded its collaboration across the UK, Europe, the US, and as a founding member of Tent Mexico. Tent connects businesses with governments and organizations supporting refugees, helping companies like Menzies match opportunities with talent.

In 2024, Menzies hosted its first Allies in Aviation employability training at its London HQ with Tent UK, providing guidance for displaced individuals seeking careers in aviation. The HR team also participated in Tent’s World Refugee Week Job Fair at London Metropolitan University, engaging with more than 50 candidates for operational and non-operational roles across the UK.

Building on this momentum, Menzies has engaged with UNHCR to explore additional ways to expand refugee outreach, support workforce integration, and enhance labor mobility. Together with allies like Tent and UNHCR, Menzies Aviation is working to create pathways for the economic inclusion of refugees and to contribute meaningfully to brighter futures for displaced communities.
