Hassan El-Houry
CEO, Menzies AviationHassan El-Houry is Group Chief Executive Officer of Menzies Aviation, the world’s largest aviation services company. Menzies operates at more than 347 airports across 65 countries, employing 65,000 people who deliver ground, cargo, and fuel services.
Hassan has more than two decades of experience building and scaling global aviation services businesses. Before joining Menzies, he transformed National Aviation Services (NAS) from a single-station operation into a leading aviation services provider across emerging markets. As Group CEO of NAS from 2009 to 2022, he led the company’s expansion across Africa, South Asia, and the Middle East.
In 2022, Hassan played a leading role in Agility’s acquisition of Menzies and its subsequent integration with NAS, creating the world’s largest aviation services company. As Executive Chairman of Menzies from 2022 to 2026, he shaped the company’s strategy and guided it through a period of significant growth and record financial performance. He assumed the role of Group CEO in 2026.
Hassan serves on the boards of United Projects Company, Royal Aviation, and National Real Estate Company. He is also Chairman of the Aviation Services Association (ASA World) and serves in an advisory capacity to the Wharton School’s EMEA Board and the University of Colorado Boulder’s Center for Leadership.
Recognized as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in 2014, Hassan holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an undergraduate degree from the American University of Beirut.
