Wamdah Tech expands technology programs for Saudi women with support from Agility
Riyadh – 17 August 2026 — Wamdah Tech, with support from Agility, is expanding its applied programs for women graduates in computer science and information technology across several regions of Saudi Arabia, under a rollout plan covering Madinah, Hail and the Northern Borders.
This expansion is part of the initiative’s broader pathway to help technology graduates develop practical skills aligned with labor-market needs and move from academic knowledge into hands-on application and professional practice through application development and AI-enabled tools.

The program combines technical training, practical application and work on projects linked to real needs, giving participants the opportunity to apply what they learn, build experience in application development and strengthen their readiness to contribute to technology projects and digital services.
The program is delivered in three stages. The first consists of an intensive, three-day, in-person training program comprising 15 hours of instruction in application development and programming using AI-enabled tools. This is followed by a 45-day period of remote practical application through the Wamdah Tech platform. In the final stage, technology projects are sourced from local organizations and businesses, creating opportunities for participants to apply their skills in real-world settings as part of an integrated pathway extending for up to 120 days.
This model reflects Wamdah Tech’s approach to building a pathway that goes beyond training by linking skills development with hands-on application, projects and professional opportunities. It is designed to help graduates build practical, demonstrable experience they can carry into their careers.
Commenting on the program, Abdullah Al-Khaldi, CEO of MDK Innovation Nonprofit and General Supervisor of Wamdah Tech, said:
“We value Agility’s support for Wamdah Tech and the opportunity it creates to focus on what comes after training. Our goal is for participants to move from acquiring skills to applying them in practice, and to leave with a clearer understanding of how technology projects are developed and delivered, strengthening their readiness for professional opportunities in the market.”
He added:
“We see technology empowerment as an integrated pathway that begins with skills development, but its real value emerges when knowledge becomes application, application becomes experience, and experience opens the door to continued professional opportunities.”
Henadi Al-Saleh, CEO – Agility, said:
“Agility’s support for Wamdah Tech reflects our belief that skills development is most effective when learning is connected to practical application. This program provides Saudi women in technology with an opportunity to develop practical skills, strengthen their capabilities and build a foundation for continued professional development in the technology sector.”
Through this pathway, Wamdah Tech aims to expand access for women graduates in technology in the target regions to applied experiences and projects that help them build practical experience, while supporting the development of local technology capabilities connected to the needs of organizations and sectors in those regions.
