Agility Defense & Government Services UK, a fully owned subsidiary of Agility, said the United Kingdom Ministry of Defence has awarded the company a 27-month contract worth an estimated $15 million in revenues to collect, track, store and dispose of non-military items and equipment used by UK forces in Afghanistan.
The contract issued by the ministry’s Disposal Services Agency includes four six-month option periods. Disposal work is to begin next month at Camp Bastion in Helmand Province, Afghanistan.
